Metal music tends to follow a traditional music theory not unlike classical music. It can also diverge from the norm entirely. It’s a beautiful thing. It can be blacker than the abyssal trenches of the sea, or it can be brighter than the sun, or surprisingly chill. Metal as a genre is vast and can blend well with other genres to make infinite sub genres of metal.
My favorite metal is symphonic metal, it’s so dramatic and epic, often accompanied by an opera singer with layered and dramatic instruments and of coarse metal. Xandria is a prime example, notably their song valentine. Perhaps you tire of me rambling about metal. So be it, but I literally cannot live without it. I am currently learning how to do corpse paint makeup. I may be an introvert but I have an aggressive side. I water my mango tree while lovingly singing gutturals at it. Saying stuff like “GROW!! INTO BEAUTIFUL TREE!! GET WATER!! PRETTY MANGO GROW!!” in quite the aggressive tone. People overhearing my intimate encouragement of my mango tree would assume I’m crazy. Perhaps I’m a little mad in general but I love metal, and I love my mango tree. She’s a pretty little tree.
